Anybody have experience with Sparco Sprints? Or better yet, Sprints AND Bride VIOS III’s?
I’m thinking about trying them out, I seem to recall sitting in them once and finding them a lot more comfortable than the Brides, giving up just a bit of the bolstering for a lot more wiggle room. They’re cheap for aftermarket (FIA certified) seats, I know they fit in Miatas, they have side and bottom mounting holes, and they come in red. Maybe these will be the answer to my seating woes. What say you? I still think the Brides LOOK better, but... Meh.
Oh and I ordered another harness. Should Ibe here any day now. This time I grabbed the substrap too so I can roll in 6-point mode. I t’s going to be so nice not using the stock belt anymore...

Yo I’ve actually been loving my Sprint V. Super comfortable, even more so than the stock leather seats. Fit is tight but good. A little difficult to get into, but I’ve got it down now lol. I have just o rdered a 330mm wheel and hub by the way (so excited!) . Seat position being fixed, You’ll have to like the seat somewhat upright (which I do) . Though you could recline some with your seat mount.
The only thing I would mention is that the shoulder curvature is a tight fit. I’m slim and tall, but have broad shoulders. If I could have them slightly wider I would, but then the seat wouldn’t fit in the car, so.. . It works very well as is.

Yep pretty sure I’m going to try them. I think they’re wider in the shoulders than my Brides so that shouldn’t be an issue. How’s the fabric holding up? Does it feel durable? Are you still using the stock belts?
The smaller wheel is such a good mod

The fabric seems really solid to me. Was worried about that at first with the getting in and out process being not so easy, but I’m not worried about it anymore.
Still using stock belts yeah... They aren’t bad. They are locked in to place pretty well with the way the belt is fed through the seat. I’d have to get a harness bar or have one welded on to my roll bar, as at the time I passed on the built in harness bar. I didn’t plan on getting a racing seat to be honest. It just became necessary with the fitment of the bar being so close to my head on stock seats.
